Sandy Park continues to wait patiently to find out if our Special Olympics Athletes will be competing at State Games in Orlando this year. Robert K., Stephen S., and Anthony F. have practiced very hard and they are very excited to find out if they made it. There was a lot of tough competition this year, but the guys are pretty confident and they have all of our support.

In honor of “NATIONAL FUN AT WORK DAY” Sandy Park will have an entire day of fun and games!! We will have a water balloon toss, relay style races, tug of war, popsicles, and lots of music and dancing.

SPDC will be celebrating Easter this year with an afternoon Easter service and some Easter crafts for our clients to make and keep. We hope that everyone has a blessed Easter spent with those that are special to you.

For Arbor Day this year Clients and staff will be planting a new tree on the grounds of Sandy Park. We will be learning about the importance of trees and small ways we can protect our environment.
